🐘🎨 Elephant Magic – Mixed Media Art Class!
Join us this Monday at Standish Community Centre for a bold, expressive art session where we’ll bring majestic elephants to life using cardboard collage and charcoal. Drawn from scratch and fully guided step by step, this mixed media workshop focuses on building tone, depth, and texture.
Led by experienced art teacher Julia, it’s the perfect session to grow your skills, try new techniques, and enjoy a creative Monday morning.

Wisteria Evening

Join us for a tranquil evening of painting wisteria in cascading lilacs, dusky blues, and soft ultraviolet hues. You’ll work on A3 canvas using a beautiful blend of watercolour washes and layered acrylics to create depth, flow, and fine detail.
This is a fully guided session, with close-up, real-time demonstrations throughout — led by a qualified art teacher who’ll walk you through every stage, from brushwork to colour blending and tonal layering. Expect a warm, relaxed atmosphere, real artistic techniques, and the country charm of The Traveller’s Rest to set the perfect creative scene.
