Snoopy & Friends!
Monday, 16th February 2026
10am & 11:30am
The Wayfarer, Parbold
“Happiness is a warm puppy.”
— Charles M. Schulz
This February half-term, join us for a truly special creative experience inspired by Snoopy & Friends, celebrating friendship, imagination, kindness, curiosity, books, wonder, and those quiet moments of looking up at the stars.
This workshop captures the magic of childhood and turns it into something to treasure — a beautiful piece of artwork children (and adults) can feel proud of, display at home, and treasure for years to come.
Participants will choose their favourite A3 Snoopy & Friends design and be guided step-by-step through the creative process in a fully demonstrated, mixed-media art session.
We’ll explore watercolour techniques, acrylic paint, fine pen work, layering, detail, and expressive mark-making.

🍊Zesty Oranges and Moroccan courtyard
Wednesday 18 February 2026
18:30 - 21:00
Choose from two beautiful paintings:
Zesty Oranges – layer vibrant, juicy oranges, warm yellows and fresh greens to create a bold, uplifting still life full of colour and energy.
Moroccan Courtyard – work with simplified shapes, sun-washed blues and soft foliage to build a calm, decorative courtyard scene inspired by Morocco.
This is a fully guided, step-by-step Sip & Paint, led by an experienced Art & Design teacher. You’ll work with acrylics and watercolours, with a choice of surfaces available on the night, and plenty of guidance throughout.
Absolutely no experience is needed. All work is carefully structured and differentiated so beginners feel confident and supported, while more experienced painters can enjoy adding their own details and style. Please take a look at our gallery to see the confidence and quality our artists achieve — especially first-time painters!

Coral Reef
Sunday, 1st March 2026
14:00 - 16:30
The Mino Studio, Standish, Wigan
Studio Workshop | Painting, Paper, Fabric, Hand & Machine Stitch
Join me for a relaxed Sunday afternoon studio workshop at Mino Art School, inspired by the colour, pattern and the vibrant beauty of coral reefs.
We’ll take visual cues from reef environments — translucent blues and greens, flashes of coral pinks, soft neutrals and organic shapes — exploring how colour, line and texture can work together to create rhythm, depth and movement. This is an abstract, intuitive session, focused on process rather than perfection.
You’ll work with paper, paint, mark-making, transparent fabrics, combining layered colour with freehand machine embroidery and hand embellishment. Stitch is used in a loose, expressive way — rather than traditional embroidery. Threads may trail, overlap or break the surface, adding tactile interest and a sense of flow to the work. For beginners onwards. Fully qualified art teacher, small group. All materials and refreshments included.

William Morris: Printing & Painting
Friday, 6 March 2026
18:30 - 21:00
The Mino Studio, Standish
An Arts & Crafts–Inspired Decorative Studio Workshop
Join me for a relaxed and carefully guided evening workshop in the Mino studio, inspired by the rich pattern, colour and decorative beauty of the Arts & Crafts movement and the work of William Morris.
This small-group studio session explores pattern and colour through a simple wax printing and painting process that produces beautiful, structured results — even if you’ve never drawn or painted before. Everything is demonstrated step by step, with a clear process to follow, so you can settle into the making and enjoy the rhythm and repetition of decorative design.
Working from a chosen curated Morris-inspired design, you’ll develop your piece using gentle line, pattern and colour, building confidence as you go. Inks and watercolours are used to create depth, harmony and subtle variation, while maintaining clarity and control throughout the design.
At the end of the session, your main artwork will be mounted and framed in a walnut-toned wood and glass frame, ready to take home and display. If time allows, you’ll also create additional smaller pieces, finished with clean window mounts.

“Fabulous experience all round. Great evening even though we’d not done anything like this since school days! Relaxed, enjoyable and all the resources you need. It was great to give it a go and experience the freedom of painting without expectation. Totally liberating and I’ve painted since.”
